The Illinois League of Financial Institutions (The League) is the statewide trade association which acts as a voice for federally and state chartered thrifts and community banks.

Organized in 1880, the role of The League as a trade association partner is to seek out providers, innovations, and information to assist financial institutions to become the thrift/bank of tomorrow while advancing member interests in the legislative, regulatory, and public opinion arenas.

As the financial services industry continually evolves, The League keeps its members informed of the latest developments through four primary areas: advocacy, education, information allocation/aggregating, and member services.

The strong relations we have built for over a century ensures League members will receive the advocacy they deserve and products designed to meet their specific needs—saving time and money.
