The Career Development Series is the new name of the former Career Development School.  The Series format provides more options and flexible scheduling for attendees.  While continuing to offer a full slate of banking and professional development topics and networking opportunities, the Career Development Series is designed to broaden each attendee's knowledge of the banking business, regardless of whether you have been employed at a financial institution for 2 years or 20 years.  There is something at the Career Development Series for you.

The Career Development Series immerses attendees into a broad-based educational approach designed to further enhance their understanding and perspective of the thrift and community banking business.

The Series is held at the University of Illinois in Urbana and is co-sponsored by the League and the U of I’s Office of Continuing Education.  A variety of subjects are offered during the course of the School.  Operational, technical, management and professional development topics are taught by a faculty consisting of business leaders, consultants and U of I faculty members. Attendees select the sessions they wish to attend and plan their own schedules.
